Jeffrey, who has recently schtupped (and punched) said hot mess (but is not the cause of her current state), arrives home with his goody-two-shoes date after being chased there by his date’s ex and his jock friends. When the drunk and belligerent ex notices the naked zombie on Jeffrey’s front lawn, he asks “Who is that?…Is that your mother, Jeffrey?” We do not think Lynch intended this to be funny, but it is nevertheless disturbingly hysterical, so you never know.
