Maggie Gyllenhaal Wins a Golden Globe for “THE HONORABLE WOMAN”

Maggie Gyllenhaal won a Golden Globe for SundanceTV’s THE HONORABLE WOMAN in the “Best Actress in a Mini-Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television” category.

As Nessa Stein, Gyllenhaal plays a British baroness promoting peace in the Middle East, while navigating her way through a web of family secrets and global espionage. She was up against some formidable veteran talents for the award including Ellen Burstyn (Flowers in the Attic), Frances McDormand (Olive Kitteridge), Julia Roberts (The Normal Heart), and Cicely Tyson (The Trip to Bountiful).
