Aden Young Earns Critics’ Choice Television Award Nomination for SundanceTV’s “RECTIFY”

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) announced the Critics’ Choice Television Award nominations today, and actor Aden Young nabbed a nomination in the Best Actor in a Drama Series category for his work on SundanceTV’s RECTIFY. Nominated for the show’s second season, Young is up against Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul), Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy), Freddie Highmore (Bates Motel), Matthew Rhys (The Americans), and Timothy Olyphant (Justified).

Young previously starred in Metal Skin, for which he earned an AFI nomination for Best Actor and the Australian Critics Circle Award. Other notable performances include River Street, which earned him another AFI nomination for Best Actor.

SundanceTV earned three additional Critics’ Choice Television Award nominations for THE HONORABLE WOMAN and its leading ladies Maggie Gyllenhaal and Janet McTeer.

The 5th annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards will be broadcast live on Sun., May 31, 2015 at 8 ET/5 PT.
