Zoë Tapper is an English actress and a graduate of the Central School of Speech and Drama. Tapper was introduced to cinema-going audiences with her film debut as Nell Gwynn in Richard Eyre’s Stage Beauty. This marked the beginning of a series of roles in films including Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont, These Foolish Things, Affinity and Blood.
Tapper is also known for her work on television, from A Harlot’s Progress and Desperate Romantics to her RTS-nominated role in Twenty Thousand Streets Under the Sky, the post-apocalyptic series Survivors and the ITV drama Mr. Selfridge.
On stage, Tapper has appeared in Othello at Shakespeare’s Globe, Epitaph for George Dillon in the West End and Last of the Boys at Southwark Playhouse.
