Kelvin Brown is an actor/musician who was born in St. Louis, MO and raised in Kansas City. At the age of seven, his parents discovered his admiration for entertainment when he was cast lead in his grade school musical. He soon went on to perform in various plays in high school while performing around town with his local band. In college (Missouri State University), after completing his double major in music and theatre, he received an opportunity to work as a production assistant in the Los Angeles area for popular TV shows and films on the Paramount lot. Within several months, Kelvin made his television debut performing on the popular teen show Moesha. He then soon made an appearance in the classic comedy film Two Can Play That Game opposite Vivica Fox. While performing at an open mic night in Hollywood, an agent approached him about representing him for commercials. In a very short time he went on to be featured in more than thirty nationally televised commercials. This showcased his comedic talents, which lead to guest-starring roles on Brooklyn Nine Nine, My Name Is Earl and Everybody Hates Chris. Kelvin Brown has also showcased his dramatic acting skills with guest stints on Grey's Anatomy, Cold Case and Lie to Me.
