The reality of school life sets in as the students prepare to take their first test. Problems arise as serial absentee student Camille is late and receives a warning from Principal LouAnne. Chuck D takes the students to a music studio to help them express emotions through spoken word poetry. One student, Scout, excels and is invited to read her poetry to a live audience, which is a major challenge for the anxiety sufferer. Rabbi Shmuley leads a class on world religion and arguments break out, and Camille’s risk for getting kicked out increases by swearing at the Rabbi. After the chaos of Rabbi Shmuley’s class, Adam Richman takes the students to an urban garden to teach them about where their food comes from. The lesson has a calming effect on the students, which relieves Dream School’s teaching staff.
