Rarriwuy HickPlays Latani
Rarriwuy is from North East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. She has performed in The Shadow King (Malthouse Theatre and tour), Bloodland (Sydney Theatre Company/Bangarra Dance Company) and Wrong Skin (Ngurrumilmaramiriwu) (Opera House/Malthouse/Adelaide Festival/Darwin Festival). Rarriwuy's television credits include Brendan Cowell's production The Outlaw Michael Howe; The Broken Shore alongside Wayne Blair, Claudia Karvan, Don Hany and Robyn Nevin; and the critically acclaimed AACTA and Logie award-winning series Redfern Now and The Gods of Wheat Street. She has also appeared in the short films The Hunter directed by Margaret Harvey, Scar, with Toronto's imagineNATIVE Award-winning director Tiffany Parker and She Say directed by Leah Purcell. In addition to acting, Rarriwuy is also a singer, dancer and choreographer.
