Sundance Film Festival Documentaries That 'Expose and Inspire'

The filmmakers behind the more than two dozen documentary films being showcased at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival may have different reasons for being there, notes Reuters’ Christine Kearney. “Some are competing for prizes and aiming to score distribution deals, others are seeking media hype to gain traction with audiences, and still more simply want to entertain and inform,” she writes. In other words, their goals may be as diverse as the topics they tackle. Kearney takes a look at some of the films that seek to “expose and inspire” at this year’s festival, including SENNA, THE GREEN WAVE, HOT COFFEE and THE LAST MOUNTAIN, in an article that can be found here.
