Robert Redford didn’t just create the Sundance Film Festival, he also started Sundance Channel (thanks for that, btw). So when he stopped by to catch up (and make sure we were all doing our jobs correctly) he opened up about the challenges starting a channel pose for someone so rooted in the indie world. It all worked out and now Sundance Channel is expanding the audience for the types of films Sundance was started to foster. It’s always nice to hear the boss say you are on the right track.
