SundanceTV announced it will co-produce a new original scripted mini-series, ONE CHILD. The four-hour series penned by Guy Hibbert (Complicit, Five Minutes of Heaven) and starring Katie Leung (Harry Potter) begins production in May in London and Taiwan and will air in late 2014. ONE CHILD crosses the world as a Chinese-born young woman adopted by British parents must struggle with who she really is in order to decide where her loyalty lies.

New York, NY – July 21, 2011 – On the heels of two Emmy® nominations for its first scripted drama “Carlos,” Sundance Channel announces a second original drama, APPROPRIATE ADULT. Based on true events, APPROPRIATE ADULT tells the story of British serial killer Fred West and his relationship with his “appropriate adult,” Janet Leach. In the UK, an “appropriate adult” is appointed to sit in on police interviews with children or vulnerable adults to safeguard their interests.
