Sundance Film Festival follow up: TAKE SHELTER

Article: Sundance Film Festival follow up: TAKE SHELTER

Morgan Spurlock (Photo by Jeff Vespa/WireImage).

There aren’t many people who can figure out how to make a documentary featuring both Noam Chomsky and Ben Silverman, but Morgan Spurlock is one of them. In his new film, The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, which premiered on Saturday afternoon, having already picked up distribution from Sony Pictures Classics, Spurlock sits down with both the cognitive scientist and bad boy former TV exec to talk about branding.

And there are also afternoon showcases at the Sundance ASCAP Music CafĂ©. The festival provides “an especially welcoming environment for musicians; the Sundance…

Sundance Watch List: HOT COFFEE

Article: Sundance Watch List: HOT COFFEE

You know the famous court case in which a woman won $2.7 million (later reduced) after she spilled a cup of burning-hot McDonald’s coffee in her lap? Yeah, I’ve joked about it, too. But lawyer-turned-filmmaker Susan Saladoff has made a movie to help us understand that by ridiculing this case, we’re playing right into the…
