The decadence of the high society in Rococo period France is in the spotlight in Stephen Frears’ period piece about a high-stakes game of love and betrayal. Those aristocrats – always so bored they have to make their own drama! Glenn Close, John Malkovich and Michelle Pfeiffer lead a cast that reads like the official A-list of late 80′s/early 90′s actors.
