Artistically detailed New York City skyline

Tofi Stoler shared with Boing Boing this instantly recognizable pre-9/11 skyline of Manhattan that is created entirely out of staples. I’m not completely sure if this is the most efficient use of office supplies, but it sure is one of the coolest. Speaking of New York skylines, in case you missed it, check out this impressively detailed 18-foot drawing of New York City by Stephen Wiltshire done from memory after just a short 30 minute helicopter ride over the city. Wiltshire is autistic with a recall ability to near-perfectly translate into illustrations accurate cityscapes after seeing them for a short period of time.
