Little Horn, big sound
Standing three feet tall, the Little Horn actually isn’t so little. Boasting a 3-D audio experience, the inverted design enables low frequencies to emerge at the top of the enclosure and the octagonal shape of the horn allows sound waves to expand freely, the way nature intended. Larger versions have graced stages at Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall and the Hollywood Bowl. The real trick of the design comes from pairing a low-wattage amplifier with a vintage-inspired horn, a sound that until now has been extremely difficult to recreate with a working vintage horn. It can be connected to any sound source, making listening to an iPod a concert-worthy experience that just may be worth the $1,850 price tag.
