SUNfiltered music videos

Is it Friday already? If so, then it’s time for another round up of music videos that pleased my eye balls.

1. Major Lazar, “Hold the Line” recalls Saturday morning sessions of back to back cartoon screenings fueled by sugary cereal.

2. A rapturous video for Grizzly Bear’s “Two Weeks.” This reminds me of Boing Boing’s entry on ecstatic epilepsy seizures where a 2003 study about this topic, which included the following quote from Dostoyevsky about his own epilepsy experience:

“I would experience such joy as would be inconceivable in ordinary life – such joy that no one else could have any notion of. I would feel the most complete harmony in myself and in the whole world and this feeling was so strong and sweet that for a few seconds of such bliss I would give ten or more years of my life, even my whole life perhaps.”

3. Beautiful sentimental video for Holly Throsby’s “Would You.”

4. The Dead Pirates’ music video for “Wood” features fantastic retro animation that lends a certain stylish noir vibe.

5. An aggressive video for Battlestar by Harmonic 313 that will get your eyes and head a-boppin’ from the hot beat and the hyper kinetic visuals.
