Eco-Documentary – THE 11TH HOUR Coming to Theaters
The 11th Hour is a wonderful documentary that reverently gives a nod to “An Inconvenient Truth” while moving one step past to posit specific ways for people’s actions to positively affect the environment. Leonardo DiCaprio has cared about environmental protection for most of his life, and he chose to make a documentary about climate change because film media hold a great potential to educate people.
Some of the best minds in the world of science, design, politics, research and journalism are brought together to comment on the problems and solutions to the environmental meltdown occurring on the planet. The film includes many riveting personalities including excerpts from Prime Minister Mikhail Gorbachev, renowned scientist Stephen Hawking, former head of the CIA R. James Woolsey and sustainable design experts William McDonough and Bruce Mau.
